Dr. Small employs a multimodal pain management approach, integrating therapeutic exercise, medication, and interventions to enhance function and improve patient lives. He specializes in advanced techniques, such as ultrasound-guided nerve blocks, stem cell therapy, and spinal cord stimulation.
Dr. Scott Small is double board certified in Anesthesiology and Interventional Pain Management. He graduated with honors from Western University of Health Sciences in California in 2007 and completed his anesthesiology residency at the University of Connecticut in 2011. Dr. Small practiced as an anesthesiologist in Orange County, focusing on ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia and post-operative pain management, before pursuing a fellowship in chronic pain management at the University of Texas in San Antonio in 2013. He has since continued practicing pain management in Orange County.
